Oklahoma Cancer Registrars Association

National Cancer Registrars Week

Cancer registrars throughout the world will join their colleagues, fellow medical professionals, and community leaders to observe the 24th annual National Cancer Registrars Week (NCRW), April 6-10, 2020. The purpose of National Cancer Registrars Week (NCRW) is to emphasize the important role cancer registrars play in capturing the data that informs cancer research, prevention, and treatment programs. The theme for 2020 is Cancer Registrars: 2020 Vision for the Future.

OCRA has obtained a signed proclamation for National Cancer Registrars Week. We would love to include information and pictures showing how you celebrated NCRW in our next newsletter.  We realize everyone will have to be extra creative this year and can't wait to hear what you came up with!  Please forward details to Shelly Ware, our Public Relations Chair.

In honor of NCRW, the Oklahoma Cancer Registrars Association has scheduled a photo session with Governor Kevin Stitt had been scheduled for Monday, April 6th.  Due to Shelter In Place requirements we have had to cancel this event.  Stay safe and healthy!
